TTDocScan (“the app”) is developed by Tummy Tiger. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
You sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Depending on which you choose, we receive your name and email address (Apple can provide a private relay email instead of your real one, at your choice) to create your account.
Scanned documents, photos, and signatures are stored locally on your device, encrypted at rest. We do not have a server and cannot see your documents.
If you choose to connect Google Drive, the app requests access limited to files it creates itself (Google's drive.file scope) — it cannot see, read, or modify any other file in your Drive. Backed-up documents are stored in your own Drive storage, under your Google account, not on any server we operate.
We use Sentry to catch crashes and bugs. We do not send personal information with crash reports.
The app requests camera access to scan documents and photo library access to import existing images or save exports. These stay on your device unless you choose to export or share a file yourself.
If you purchase a subscription, payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store — we never see or store your payment details.
We don't run ads, don't use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs, and don't sell or share your data with third parties.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored documents. To remove documents already backed up to Drive, delete them from your Google Drive directly. To revoke the app's Drive access, remove it from your Google Account's connected apps.
TTDocScan is not directed at children under 13.
